Späck is a cured ham originating from Italy's northern-most province, Alto Adige, and is traditionally both salt cured and smoked. It has a distinctively peppery flavour with strong notes of juniper berry and spices. Sgaia have spiced this smokey Späck with whole crushed juniper berries and a mix of other spices, sliced them thinly and brushed them in extra virgin olive oil.
Each pack contains six slices, each one seasoned individually with freshly ground red, green and black peppercorns.
